ABOUT twin2twin

twin2twin was established in December 1997 by, Correen & Steve Jackson of Middlesex, Christopher & Jacqueline Giles of Lancashire, and by Dionne Thompson of Middlesex. Correen and Steve have 8 year old twin boys, survivors of TTTS whilst Chris & Jackie lost their twin girls, Charlene stillborn, and Christa who lived for 13 days, after birth at 25 weeks. Dionne has 6 year old boy survivors.

twin2twin gained its registered charity status in November 1998 after a busy year raising funds, creating this web site and producing information leaflets with the help of some leading fetal medicine specialists, that were then distributed to parents and maternity units through out the UK.

Registered charity No. 1072518

A very big thank you to the dedicated parents who help raise funds to cover the running costs of twin2twin.

OUR CURRENT WORK

Our current work is concerned with making this web site into an informative and up to date resource for TTTS - aimed at both sufferers and medical professionals. We are in constant touch with many medical professionals around the world.

The next stage is to publish Parent's Guides - which will be distributed to every ante-natal clinic in the UK. Any offers of help with publishing and distribution will be most helpful, the task of making sure that everybody knows about the various treatment centres, and giving parent's more information as well as someone to speak to who understands is a vast undertaking.
